This was, yet again, a well fought battle through to the final with the eventual winner being Peter Harrison.
It was good to see the ladies playing and in particular the efforts of Alison McDonnell fighting her way through to the semi finals.
Ali’s journey is set out below
After the Round Robins and into the Knockouts Alison beat Trevor Green 10-3. She did have a 5 point start and they stopped after 6 ends as Trevor couldn’t win but nevertheless! David lost out to Len on Len’s journey to the semi final
Chris Hutchinson lost to Alison 6-4 having given her a 4 point start through handicaps
Alison was then beaten by Peter Harrison in the semi final and Roger Jones bettered Len White in the other semi final
The final was between Peter Harrison and Roger Jones with Peter winning.
The President again had much kneeling and measuring to perform
